About Balak Ram

Lord Ram Lalla will be called by the name “Balak Ram”. An avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, and is the presiding deity of the Ram Mandir Ayodhya. Rama Lalla (Lord Ram) is one of the principal deities of Hinduism and is traditionally considered by Hindus as the seventh incarnation of Vishnu. This temple is located in Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. and has been re-built to commemorate the birth of Rama at Ayodhya.

Bhumi Pujan ceremony Soil and sacred water were gathered from various holy sites in India for the Bhoomi Poojan, including the Kaveri river and the Triveni Sangam of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati at Prayagraj. Additionally, soil was delivered to bless the temple from four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, as well as from several Hindu, Jain, and gurudwara temples across the country.
Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj has carved the idol of Ram Lalla. The black schist, or Krishna Shila, that gave the sculpture its azure hue. The Ram Lalla deity is dressed in Banarasi fabric, wearing a red “angavastram” or “patka” and a yellow dhoti. The “angavastram” is adorned with threads and pure gold “zari.”
